National Eating Disorders Awareness Week is from February 25 – March 3, 2019. The theme this year is “come as you are”, encouraging people from all shapes and sizes to share their stories and unify the eating disorder community.
Responding appropriately to a loved one who suffers from mental illness can be trying at times. It can be difficult to be empathetic towards others when you don’t fully understand the struggles that they are facing, but giving the appropriate love and support is critically important when dealing with others.
