Crossroads Health Announces Record-Breaking Inaugural Biennial Fundraiser Soaring Hearts
Crossroads Health’s Inaugural Biennial Fundraiser, Soaring Hearts, is a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ attempt for most kites flown simultaneously at Headlands Beach State Park, May 21, 2022 at 2:00pm.
Mentor, OH—Crossroads Health is pleased to announce Soaring Hearts, a new ground-breaking community-wide event in partnership with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™. This major event will be held at Headlands Beach State Park on May 21, 2022 at 2:00pm. Headlands Beach State Park is located at 9601 Headlands Rd, Mentor, OH 44060.
Crossroads Health’s Chief Development Officer, James Wyman states: “The concept for Soaring Hearts directly aligns our outreach efforts and special events with our community-based mission, vision, and values. One of our core values is belonging. I cannot think of a more inclusive event—an event for all ages, at all stages of life. Our partnership with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™, and our many community collaborators including local and state partners such as Headlands Beach State Park—Department of Natural Resources, City of Mentor Police and Fire Departments, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lake County Visitors Bureau, just to name a few, make this is an event like no other. We welcome small and large businesses, the non-profit community, schools and universities, arts & cultural agencies, social groups and teams or clubs—organizations of all descriptions—to join with us through many available sponsorship opportunities. Tailored sponsorship packages are available for your group or organization to fly their own branded kites and receive months of promotion and benefits. This will truly be an event of a lifetime.
Together, as a community, we will attempt to break a world record for the most kites flown simultaneously. Our goal is to have 13,000 kites in the air at one time. Each and every participant will have the opportunity to be a world record holder certified by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™. With Soaring Hearts, we come together to celebrate and embrace our shared humanity and paint the sky with color and movement.”
