Crossroads’ Prescribes Summer of Fun “Registration for Camp IGNITE is Underway”

Crossroads is now registering children diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for Camp IGNITE, a specialized summer day camp designed with their needs in mind. Camp IGNITE provides children with ADHD a typical childhood day camp experience while managing challenging behaviors and successfully giving them focus.

Crossroads Director of Community-based Services, Colette Bukowski says “Camp IGNITE has enhanced summer time for our kids. The curriculum is set-up so that our campers are having so much fun; they don’t even realize, they are actively learning and improving their social, organizational, and problem-solving skills. By the end of camp, these kids leave with smiles of pride and self-confidence.”

Camp IGNITE will be held for four weeks from July 5th – 29th and operates 9am-3pm Monday through Friday at the Willoughby Tech, Building C located at 25 Public Square Willoughby, OH. Camp IGNITE will host up to 25 ADHD campers ages 8-12 years old and has a 4:1 camper to staff ratio.
