Crossroads’ expands to Meet Demand “New Year, New Location”
MENTOR, OH (January 06, 2016) – Crossroads is growing in 2016 by opening a new location in Willoughby known as the Crossroads Family Wellness Center located on the third floor of the Parkhill Professional Building 35104 Euclid Avenue, Suite 300 Willoughby, OH 44094. Crossroads is the largest provider of behavioral and mental health care services for children, adolescents, young adults and their families in Lake County and the new location will allow families in neighboring communities access to our much needed services.
Crossroads Chief Executive Officer, Mike Matoney says “Crossroads provides direct service to 2,300 children and their families annually with many more who need it. Expanding will physically place us closer to partner agencies like LakeHealth and Windsor Laurelwood while also eliminating the transportation barrier many clients have because now we are on a routine LakeTran bus route.”
Crossroads Director of Outpatient Services, Amber Thomas explains “In addition to our core programs and services, we’re excited to offer programs that incorporate creative therapy into healing. We’ve seen that integrating the individual’s physical and mental health through creative therapies can be a very healing process. We will offer art therapy and trauma-informed yoga as well as other innovative programs at our new location.”
Crossroads currently has three locations in Lake County, a main office on Munson Road, Early Childhood Services on Mentor Avenue in Painesville, and a satellite location in Perry. Crossroads Family Wellness Center will be open by mid-January.
