MENTOR, OH (May 13, 2016) – Crossroads and Lake County Youth Led Prevention want you to be Red Carpet ready as you are cordially invited to attend the first annual “Be The Change” PSA Red Carpet Event from 6-9pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Atlas Cinemas located at 7860 Mentor Avenue Mentor, Oh.

Lake County kids in 6th-12th grade were challenged this spring to participate in the PSA contest and produce a brief original video on tolerance, substance abuse prevention, and/or mental health promotion. Crossroads’ Director of School and Community-Based Services, Colette Bukowski says “Youth generated messages can be very powerful tools in changing the attitudes and behaviors of other youth. We are very pleased with the efforts and videos submitted. The judges will have a tough time choosing just one winner.”

The 30-90 second video public service announcements (PSA) will be featured on the big screen at the event. The winning PSA entry will be announced and awarded $500. All are welcome. Tickets are required for admission, reserve yours now at https://lcylppsa2016.eventbrite.com
