Be the Change PSA Video Contest
MENTOR, OH (March 31, 2016) – Crossroads and Lake County Youth Led Prevention are challenging Lake County middle schoolers in 6th through 8th grades to produce a video public service announcement (PSA) covering any of the following topics:
Substance Abuse Prevention
Mental Health Promotion
Tolerance
Crossroads’ Director of Community and School-Based Services, Colette Bukowski says “This is a fun way to engage our kids and we literally get to see these important subjects from their point of view. These videos have the power to inspire and impact their peers and even our own staff.”
Be the Change video PSA’s on one of the identified topics should be 30-90 seconds in length and can be done individually or in groups by April 29, 2016. All the PSA’s will be highlighted on the big screen at Atlas Cinemas in Mentor on May 24, 2016 from 6-9pm and the winning video producer gets $500.
