Crossroads Health and ESCWR Expand Partnership at Hale Road Campus

We are excited to announce the expansion of the partnership between Crossroads Health and the Educational Service Center of the Western Reserve (ESCWR) as we come together this fall at the Hale Road Campus, 56 Hale Road, Painesville Township, Ohio 44077. This enhanced collaboration creates a unique opportunity to provide coordinated behavioral health, healthcare, and educational services in one location for the children and families we serve.

Crossroads Health will continue operating its Mental Health Day Treatment Program, providing
intensive, structured behavioral health services for children with significant social, emotional, and
mental health needs. Through this expanded partnership, ESCWR will provide onsite educational
instruction for Day Treatment students, creating a seamless model that integrates education,
behavioral health, and healthcare under one roof.

In addition to therapeutic and educational services, children will have access to Crossroads
Health’s integrated care model, including primary care, nursing, psychiatry, counseling, and case
management services. Together, Crossroads Health and ESCWR are strengthening a shared
commitment to helping students build resilience and experience success at home, in school, and
in the community.

ESCWR will continue providing specialized services through its SAIL (Success, Access, Independence, and Life Readiness) Program, which serves students requiring individualized educational supports in a highly structured and supportive learning environment. Together, our organizations will offer a seamless experience where healthcare, behavioral health, and education work hand-in-hand to help children thrive.

We are also pleased to share that capital improvements are currently underway throughout the building, including enhanced safety features and facility upgrades that will create an even better environment for students, families, and staff. The Hale Road Campus provides expanded space and new opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration.

This investment reflects our shared commitment to increasing access to high-quality services for
children and families in our region. We look forward to welcoming the community to this exciting
new chapter and sharing more updates in the months ahead.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are incredibly excited about what this
expansion means for the future of children and families in Lake and surrounding counties.

Warmly,
